Android TV & Google TV
Use a compatible Android TV or Google TV device running Android 6.0 or later. Have your remote, an internet connection and enough free storage ready. The TV APK is approximately 22.7 MB; the installed app needs additional space.
Amazon Fire TV
Your model must run Android-based Fire OS and support Android APK installation. Fire TV devices using Vega OS do not install this APK. Check the device model and system information before continuing; the Fire TV name alone is not enough.
These APKs do not install directly on Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Roku or Apple TV. A television connected to an Android TV or Fire TV device uses the connected device for installation. Read our Fire TV compatibility guide if you are unsure.
Install with your remote
Use Downloader on your TV.
Open Downloader on the compatible TV device. Use its URL or code field to open Voltra’s download destination, then select the TV version if the device chooser appears.
1165642You can also enter https://voltra.tv/tvdownload.html in Downloader. Enter the code by itself in the URL/code field; do not append it to the website address.
Open the official TV download page
Confirm the destination is voltra.tv. Choose Download TV APK and wait for the file transfer to finish. The filename is voltratvversion.apk.
Review installation permission
If Android or Fire OS blocks the installer, follow the settings prompt to allow installation from Downloader. Some Fire TV devices place this option under Developer Options; names and locations vary by model. Keep other security protections enabled.
Install and launch
Return to Downloader, open the downloaded file if needed, and choose Install. Select Open when installation finishes. Use the remote’s direction buttons and Select to move through the TV interface.
Finish housekeeping
After confirming the app opens, you can remove the downloaded APK to recover space and disable Downloader’s permission to install unknown apps. Removing the downloaded file does not uninstall the app.
Already have the APK on another device?
Transfer the TV APK to the TV using a method your device supports, then open it with a file manager. You may need to grant that file manager installation permission instead of Downloader. Downloading an APK on your phone does not install it on the TV automatically.
Troubleshoot the TV setup.
The Downloader code does not work
Enter only 1165642, without spaces or the website address. If the code still fails, enter https://voltra.tv/tvdownload.html instead. Confirm your internet connection and that you are using Downloader’s URL/code field.
“App not installed” or an unsupported package
Confirm the device supports Android APKs, choose the TV file and check storage. Download the file again if the first transfer was interrupted. Do not remove an existing installation as your first step: local settings may be lost. Record the error and installed version if you need support.
The interface expects touch input
You may have installed the mobile version. Check which file you downloaded: the TV filename is voltratvversion.apk. Use the TV download on this page for a remote-focused interface.
